No Tokyo Olympic catering…I didn’t agree with their contract. I won’t go there. Probably, go next Olympic 2024 summer Paris.

UPDATE! It was announced that The Tokyo Olympic Games will commence in Summer 2021 (7/23- 8/8), however there is also a chance that it could be ultimately cancelled depending on the world pandemic.
Kenichi Kawashima has been appointed the position of On-Site Lead Chef for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, serving the International Broadcast Center.
Before and during the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games in July 2020, Kenichi Kawashima, owner and chef of Kawashima’s Kitchen, will be leading and supervising all Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Utility Staff and Front of House Service Staff. Kawashima will be responsible to maintain the integrity of the service menus, quality of food on buffets, box meals, and all items prepared from the service location.
Kawashima will be leading food prep and delivery for all of the Broadcast Venue Managers to serve the International Broadcast Center. This is a rare honor to receive this award and Kawashima is excited to participate in the historic games of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
